Akshay Oberoi expresses his excitement on working with Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan and Sara Ali Khan in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter

Akshay Oberoi is back in Mumbai after a vacation in the United States, and he is preparing for 2023, as he has some extremely exciting projects lined up. The actor will appear alongside a talented cast of actors including Sara Ali Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and Deepika Padukone.

Following the worldwide success of Pathaan, director Siddharth Anand will now begin filming for his upcoming project Fighter, starring Deepika and Hrithik. Akshay will be seen playing the role of an air force officer in the movie. Anticipated to be released at the end of January, Fighter will be India’s first aerial action film. 

Sharing his delight about working with Deepika, Hrithik, and Sara in his forthcoming films, the actor said, “It is an exciting year. Lots of new and interesting work, with some amazing bunch of actors lined up. And acting is such a profession where you take inspiration from everywhere, even from your co-actors. I have worked with Deepika before in Piku and it’s nice to work again. Hrithik’s dedication towards work is quite infectious and Sara is a bundle of joy. 2023 is going to be a great year. I can feel it already.” 

On the work front, Akshay Oberoi made his Bollywood debut in the 2010 film Isi Life Mein, produced by Rajshri Productions. He later worked in films such as Piku, Laal Rang, Fitoor, Kaalakaandi, and many others. The actor is also part of the movie Gaslight, which stars Sara Ali Khan and Vikrant Massey.
