Released in 2009, Aamir Khan, R Madhavan and Sharman Joshi starrer 3 Idiots turned out to be a memorable film. In fact, even after 14 years of its release, it enjoys a massive fan following. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, it is based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel Five Point Someone: What not to do at IIT. In fact, recently, Vindu Vindo Chopra’s production banner, which backrolled the film, dropped a throwback video, which is actually R Madhavan auditioning for his character Farhan.
In the video, R Madhavan can be seen auditioning. He was seen playing a scene, which was the crucial conversation between his character Farhan Qureshi and his father. As soon as the video was dropped, it bagged love and appreciation from netizens.

Besides this, the 3 Idiots trio recently collaborated for a promotional video of Sharman Joshi’s latest released film Congratulations, a Gujarati-language comedy flick. The video started with Sharman Joshi talking about his film. Later, R Madhavan and Aamir Khan also join him. However, instead of helping him to shoot the video, Aamir and Maddy keep interrupting him. The video left fans in splits reminding them of their bond in 3 Idiots.

Coming to the professional front, Madhavan was last seen in Dhokha followed by Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. He, reportedly, will be next seen in the Akshay Kumar starrer film. It is a biopic on C Sankaran Nair, a lawyer who also served as the President of the Indian National Congress in 1897. Besides these, he will be headlining The Railway Men, an OTT project backed by Yahs Raj Films.
