Filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi is currently busy promoting his upcoming film Gandhi Godse – Ek Yudh. During the promotions, the director spoke about working with Salman Khan and that he is working on something for the actor. He also stated that in his opinion, Salman has not been getting good scripts lately.
Talking about Salman Khan to Pinkvilla, the director said, “Salman is a very good actor, but it is my personal opinion that he is not getting good scripts. Like Bajrangi Bhaijaan was a good script and he did a wonderful job. He deserves that, he deserves a good script. I have something and I am working on it. Woh toh har script mein suit ho sakte hain. Meri family Salman bhakt hai (Salman is suited for every script. My family loves Salman).”
Salman Khan starred in Santoshi’s Andaz Apna Apna with Aamir Khan. He also appeared in cameo roles in two of his directorial, Phata Poster Nikla Hero and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.
Meanwhile, Gandhi Godse – Ek Yudh will be clashing with Pathaan in theatres. The story of the film revolves around Mahatma Gandhi surviving Nathuram Godse’s attack and his decision to confront Nathuram Godse in prison. The film also stars Pawan Chopra, Deepak Antani, Sharad Singh, Anuj Saini, and Tanisha Santoshi in pivotal roles.
