Ananya made her acting debut with Karan Johar’s Student of the Year 2, and within three years, she has already done 5 films despite two Covid lockdowns in between. The 24-year-old even won the Filmfare Best Debutante award.

Ananya Panday may have done five films, but her acting talent do not seem to be impressing the audience, which is becoming one of the reasons for the failure of her films at the box office. Her films have been a flop post Pati Patni Aur Woh alongside Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar. Her last big-budget film Liger was a complete disaster. Liger was the debut film of the Telugu superstar Vijay Deverakonda, but it failed miserably at the box office and many were disappointed with Panday’s acting chops.

Now according to the report by TellyChakkar, owing to the box office flops, the actress has decided to cut off her fee by fifty per cent. According to the report, Ananya Panday thought that after all these failures, she could not ask for a huge amount as her fee.

Earlier her comment on ‘struggling days’ and nepotism from the Rajeev Masand show created an uproar among the people, and since then, people are very critical of her in the midst of that, this decision by the actress might turn out to be a good choice. On the professional front, she will be seen opposite Ayshmann Khurrana in Dream Girl 2 and with Siddhant Chaturvedi in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan.
